The finishing touch to your hound's SP ensemble!
The 30mm tag is made of bright steel with an enamel inlay in SP navy blue over our iconic Peacock logo to the front. This is further protected by a clear epoxy coating. Our own hounds have been wearing one of these i.d. tags for over 6 years and they still look as good today as a brand new one!
The plain steel back is left blank for you to have engraved with your own details if you wish, or just use as a "cover" for your regular tags to keep prying eyes from seeing the details unless necessary.
If you wish to have your details added, we'd recommend engraving of these tags (rather than embossing), so as not to damage the enamel. Many places that offer key cutting or sell sports trophies also offer engraving services.
The UK Control of Dogs Order (1992) states that "every dog while in a highway or place of public resort must wear a collar with the name and address of its owner inscribed on it or a plate or badge attached to it". It is also common practice to have an emergency telephone inscribed to speed up a reunion should your hound do a disappearing trick (yes, as hound owners we've been there!).
