This lovely lady is
Holly, she is currently being fostered
by GRWE and is looking for a very special home:
"Holly is six-years-old, bubbly,
bright and affectionate, very fond of her food, and the
proud owner of one of the wiggly-waggliest tails in the
world! She is learning all about playtime with toys, and she
will play nicely with other dogs.
Sadly Holly was born profoundly deaf, but we will
happily work with her new family to teach them how to
communicate with her using hand signals. She’s picked these
up very quickly and is very good at pre-empting what you
need her to do.
We’re doing a lot of work to help Holly build up her
trust with people again, she’s clearly had a rocky path to
this point, but her foster Mum is doing a wonderful job with
her. In the right home, Holly may be ok as an only dog
(she’s on her own in foster and doing well), although she
will only be able to be left for a couple of hours at a
time; she has previously lived with another dog and that may
also be an option for the future.
Holly has lived with cats and we think she would be
fine to do so again in future. Unfortunately we don’t think
Holly can live with children, as her deafness makes her too
easily startled.
Do you have room for this beautiful girl on your
sofa?"
